I’m back like a mac-attack!
I’m going to make a concerted effort to post more often. Fabulous things have happened in the course of my internet absence. Let the posting begin! BTW internet world I need your help. I am progressing my in photography skills and I want to graduate from my point-and-shoot to an SLR. I bought a great photography book that has been helping me a lot as well as following many photography blogs. SO….I need a digital SLR that is:
- Under 400 dollars (I know its bad) I don’t want to invest in lenses just yet, so I’m willing to pay that much for the body.
- Along with the above mentioned, since I want just the SLR body in the future I will be investing quite a lot in lenses. So which camera brands do you recommend?
- Recommend a carrying case that doesn’t look like a camera carrying case (I live in NYC).
- Finally an SLR I can grow into. I don’t need the latest models or newest gadgets I need something that allows me at its most basic to adjust exposure, f-stops, ISO etc.
What do your recommend my buying process be? Do I shop for the bargain online and not try it out or go to a store and play around?
You’re responses will be most greatly appreciated!
